THE STORY OF LION BABY SIMBA

On Monday 23 March SO.TRAVEL received an emergency news from Makhachkala, Dagestan that 7 month baby lion was dying and needs help!
Yulia Agaeva (founder SO.TRAVEL) and the famous vet doctor Karen Dallakyan flew to Dagestan to pick up the baby lion in Moscow, then to Chelyabinsk city where he would receive required medical assistance in a special clinic.
Simba (the name was given by Yulia) was the victim of "black photographers" in Sochi city: he roamed in hellish heat on a leash along the beaches for paid shots with vacationers. Last autumn, the baby fell sick, and the owner simply threw him away as unnecessary thing.
The lion baby was bullied and beaten and as a result his spine was damaged.
For a month, the lion lived in a dirty and cold barn, where the bedsores ate the muscles to the bone.
The chances of dying and recovering for Simba are equal, but Yulia and Karen couldn't leave him.
Now Simba is in Chelyabinsk should receive a long and expensive treatment.
